Saturday, May 2, 2009 – Get out your Colonial refinery and join
Delawareans as they celebrate the 76th anniversary of Old Dover Days.
This year’s event will get underway at 7 a.m. with a pancake breakfast
followed by a crafts and artisan fair at 8 a.m. A parade will
decorate the town starting at 9 a.m., followed by traditional maypole
dancing, musical entertainment, museum and history tours,
reenactments, pet costume contest and parade, children’s activities;
foods of every flavor and more until 5 p.m. Events take place on
Legislative Mall, Downtown Dover and The Green. Festival admission is

The MOMS Club of Rehoboth Beach Area, DE® will be hosting the second
annual Touch-A-Truck event to benefit the March of Dimes of Delaware
on Saturday, July 11 from 10 am to 2 pm. The event will be held at the
Big K (Kmart) parking lot in Rehoboth Beach, rain or shine. Kids of
all ages will be able to visit the trucks set up for their
exploration, such as a fire engine, dump truck, crane, ice cream
truck, police vehicle, tractor, and so many more. Admission will be $5
for ages 2-12; everyone else is free. Children will not be admitted
without a responsible adult. Touch-A-Truck will also feature
children’s entertainment, raffles, and refreshments. Free goody bags
